Capsules: 150 mg, 300 mg
Powder for injection: 600 mg/vial.
Contraindications/Precautions
Hypersensitivity; hx of liver disease; Diabetes; concurrent
use pf pther hepatotoxic agents; OB, Lacation: Pregnancy
or lacation. Nursing Interventions
Assess lung sounds and
character and amt of sputum
periodically during therapy!
Monitor S/S of DRESS
Interactions Eval renal function, CBC and
increase risk of hepatotoxicity with ritonavirboosted urinalysis
saquinavir; concurrent use contraindicated. Significantly
decrease blood levels of atazanavir, darunavir,
fosamprenavir, saquinavir and tipranavir; concurrent use
contraindicated. Client Education
