Organismen
Alle levende organismen vertonen levensverschijnselen,
onder te verdelen in vier groepen:
• Groeien en ontwikkelen: Groeien betekent
groter en zwaarder worden, terwijl ontwikkelen draait
om bijvoorbeeld organen die hun functie krijgen.
• Reageren op prikkels: Dit omvat ook
waarnemen, het bewustzijn van wat er gebeurt en
hierop reageren.
• Stofwisseling: Dit omvat ademhalen, voeden en

• Voortplanten: Het krijgen van nakomelingen.
Levensfasen
Een mens doorloopt tijdens zijn leven acht levensfasen:

• Peuter (1,5-4 jaar): Leren praten en bewegen.
• Kleuter (4-6 jaar): Samen spelen met andere
kinderen.
• Schoolkind (6-12 jaar): Leren lezen, schrijven en
rekenen.
• Puber (12-16 jaar): Geestelijke en lichamelijke
ontwikkeling.
• Adolescent (16-21 jaar): Ontwikkeling van
zelfstandigheid.
