Ter afronding van de module Internationaal Diëtistisch Onderzoek van het derde jaar van de opleiding
Voeding en Diëtetiek, heb ik deze opdracht gemaakt.
In deze opdracht heb ik uitgewerkt en onderzocht wat kwashiorkor is en wat de directe, onderliggende
en basale oorzaken ervan zijn. Daarnaast ben ik op zoek gegaan naar internationale cijfers van het tekort
aan vitamine A en deze vergelijken met de situatie in Nederland. Vervolgens heb ik een informatief
artikel geschreven over de verschillen in voedsel advisering tussen verschillende landen. Ik heb de
verschillende richtlijnen van Italië en Japan bestudeerd en deze vergeleken met die van Nederland. Van
de gebruikte bronnen heb ik het niveau van evidence aangegeven. Tenslotte heb ik een
wetenschappelijk artikel over de voedingsgewoonten van Turkse immigranten in Nederland bestudeerd
en heb ik daar vanuit de vertaalslag gemaakt naar de cliënt op mijn spreekuur.
