1. De aanwezigheid van vrienden beïnvloedt de mate van risico nemen bij

2. De onderzoekers beproeven (met survey’s en fMRI-metingen, tijdens gesimuleerde
rijtesten) dat de aanwezigheid van leeftijdgenoten het risicogedrag bij adolescenten
kan verhogen door hersengebieden te sensibiliseren die geassocieerd zijn met het
anticiperen op mogelijke beloningen.
3. Na experimenten suggereren de resultaten dat er inderdaad een verhoogde
sensitiviteit is betreft de mogelijke beloning die risicovolle beslissingen met zich
meebrengen.
