Photography elective second year module assignment focusing on the study of various famous photographers and artists on the topic and theme of home and familiarity in the subject matter.
My initial ideas stemmed from a desire to capture a relatable topic to the viewer, such
as family or love. Whilst these topics are indeed very poignant when the subject is
captured effectively, I felt that these areas were too broad to reduce into a single
photograph. This led me to research styles of photography I could use, deciding on
my theme later. The plan of my ideas can be seen below, where I noted down the
themes and styles of photography I could use, and other areas where the effect and
style of my images would have an impact on the viewer, for example, what lighting
and type of camera I would choose to use.
