Gasuitwisseling Tussen de alveoli en de haarvaten vindt gasuitwisseling plaats. Er komt
zuurstofarm bloed vanuit de longslagader binnen, waaruit co2 de alveoli in
diffundeert en zuurstof de alveoli uit diffundeert, waardoor het zuurstofrijke
bloed naar de longader stroomt.
Erytrocyten zijn rode bloedcellen, die hemoglobine bevatten, waar zuurstof
aan bindt.
De longslagader vervoert zuurstofarm bloed omdat deze naar de longen toe
stroomt en daar zuurstof opneemt. Vervolgens stroomt vanuit het hart het
zuurstofrijke bloed naar de aorta en verder het lichaam in.
Externe respiratie is de gasuitwisseling in de longen. Daar zorgen de A.
pulmonalis en de V. pulmonalis voor. Ook in de longen vindt er interne
respiratie plaats omdat er cellen zijn in de longen die zuurstof nodig hebben.
Hier zorgen de A. bronchialis en de V. bronchialis voor.
Interne respiratie is de gasuitwisseling tussen het bloed en de cellen.
De longen hebben ventilatie en perfusie nodig. Dit is ademhaling en
doorbloeding.
Bij een pneumonie vind je onderin de longen vocht, slijm en zwelling. Hierdoor
is er geen verbinding meer tussen de alveoli en de capillairen, waardoor
ventilatie een probleem wordt. De bloedvaten functioneren nog gewoon goed,
maar er is een probleem in de alveoli. Perfusie is bij pneumonie geen
probleem. Bij een pneumonie hoger in de longen heb je minder klachten dan
een pneumonie lager in de longen.
Ventilatie perfusie mismatch: bij een pneumonie is de ventilatie en de perfusie
uit balans. De perfusie kan namelijk wel gewoon nog doorgaan maar de
ventilatie niet meer, terwijl in de rest van de long de ventilatie en de perfusie
nog wel in balans zijn.
