Good morning team,
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you and share a little of
my background. I am Mary Smith, and I will be your new Customer Service
Manager. I have been in customer service in some capacity for over 15
years, both in entry-level and management positions. One of the things that
drew me to this role was the organizational culture. Corollary Marketing
values excellence, integrity, humility, trust, growth, and respect, which are
very important to me.
One particular value that stands out to me is trust. Trust is at the basis of
any healthy relationship, and I hope you will put your trust in me the same
way I will put my trust in you. We are a team, and we are in this together;
when we trust each other, we can always get the job done!
2. Discuss how you and your team will use one of the following elements of
self-awareness in your daily interactions:
• emotional awareness
• accurate self-assessment
• self-confidence
Self-awareness is a trait that is very beneficial in any aspect of your life.
Having high self-awareness in our roles will not only help us succeed, but
it will bring us together. One of the things that is most important to me is
self-confidence. Each of you is here for a reason; you have all been hired
into these roles because of your skills and competence. Making sure that
we are projecting self-confidence in all situations is essential. If you are
confident in yourself, it will, in turn, make others confident in you. It is very
difficult to trust in someone who is questioning themselves. Additionally,
being able to display self-confidence outward actually boosts your self-
confidence! Once people trust you and have confidence in you, you will
continue to learn more about the company and yourself. This is something
I will continue to strive for myself for each of you. I am confident in my
role, and by seeing this, I hope that you put your trust in me.
