In jaar 1 zijn we al bekend geworden met de gezondheidsproblemen van artrose.

In de richtlijn staat bijvoorbeeld dat oefentherapie bewezen een positief effect heeft op het
gezondheidsprobleem artrose, maar de vraag is; Welke vorm van oefentherapie is voor deze persoon
het best op zijn plek? In de evidence gaat het van zwemmen, naar yoga naar krachttraining, naar
wandelen. Je kan natuurlijk aanvoelen dat als er een forse krachtsvermindering is in de bovenbenen
als gevolg van artrose, dat krachttraining een voor de hand liggende keuze is. Als onderdeel van het
gezondheidsprobleem artrose ook stress en spanning een rol spelen dat je dan eerder voor yoga
kiest als oefentherapie.
