§21.2 AFWEERLINIES
Het lichaam heeft drie afweerlinies:
1. aspecifieke afweer door huid en slijmvliezen.
2. aspecifieke afweer door witte bloedcellen en fagocyten.
3. specifieke afweer door T- en B-lymfocyten. B-cellen vormen antistoffen tegen een
specifiek antigeen. Deze is niet aangeboren.

§21.3 DE EERSTE AFWEERLINIE
Mond/keel → hier zit lysozym dat de celwand van de bacterie afbreekt.
Maag → lage pH en eiwitverterende enzymen, die zorgen dat de celwand van de
bacterie beschadigt. Hierna zou de bacterie doorgaan naar de darmen, waar de
autochtone bacteriën de vreemde bacterie bestrijden.

§21.4 DE TWEEDE AFWEERLINIE
Soorten leukocyten →
1. lymfocyten - 3
2. dendritische cellen en monocyten (worden in bloed macrofagen) - 2
3. granulocyten - 2
4. natural-killer cellen - 2
5. mestcellen - 2

Granulocyten en macrofagen zijn fagocyten → deze eten de bacteriën.
Granulocyten gaan hierbij dood, maar macrofagen kunnen veel meer eten. Deze
zijn wel langzamer. Ook laten macrofagen het afweersysteem weten dat er
bacteriën aanwezig zijn, door receptoren of IgG.
Dendritische cellen → zitten op de plekken waar de antigenen naar binnen
kunnen. Ze geven cytokines en chemokines af om afweerlinie 3 te activeren en
presenteren het antigeen aan afweerlinie 3.
Natural-killer cellen → detecteren lichaamsvreemde eiwitten van virussen en
vallen de cel aan. Hierbij worden er enzymen afgegeven die de cel oplossen.

Chemotaxis → witte bloedcellen worden gelokt door signaalmoleculen in wond
van huid.
Ontstekingsreactie = chemotaxis + bloedvatverwijding.
Lichaamscellen met virus produceren interferon, zodat andere cellen niet het virus krijgen.
Bij koorts krijg je het warmer, omdat fagocytose beter werkt bij hogere temperaturen.

§21.5 DERDE AFWEERLINIE: HET IMMUUNSYSTEEM
Derde afweerlinie → berust op T- en B-cellen.
Afweersysteem → heeft een geheugen en is specifiek.
Werking → lees aantekeningen odb

Epitoop → stukje antigeen dat op de celreceptor van een lymfocyt past.
Celreceptor → bestaat uit eiwitten en koolhydraten.
Immunoglobulinen → losse antistoffen in het bloed.
