Hoofdstuk 6: risicostratificatie en screening voorparticipatie aan fysieke training en sport
- Risicostratificatie:
Voor het starten met sporten/fysieke activiteit preventief inspanningsprogramma.
Inschatten op plotse dood, inspanning gerelateerde aandoeningen en sportblessures.
Doel:
o Personen met verhoogd risico identificeren en eventueel excluderen van sporten.
o Individuen identificeren met een risicoprofiel.
o Individuen identificeren die aangepast trainingsschema nodig hebben.
Op basis van:
o Factor 1: risicofactoren op cardiovasculaire aandoeningen: obesitas, roken…?
o Factor 2: tekenen en symptomen in het verleden?
o Factor 3: gekende cardiovasculaire, pulmonale en metabole aandoeningen of in
de familiale voorgeschiedenis?
- Een stappenplan:

o Vragenlijst van 7 vragen.
Sportmedische keuring:
o Indien je op 1 vraag van hierboven ja antwoordt, moet je naar de dokter.
o Uitgebreid gepeild naar de 3 factoren
o Hierdoor word je ingedeeld in 3 categorieën:
Low risk: ♂ < 45j en ♀ < 55j, asymptomatisch en niet meer dan 1 laag risico.
Medium risk: ♂ > 45j en ♀ > 55j of jonger maar ≥ 2 lage risicofactoren.
High risk: ≥ 1 grote symptomen of een gekende ziekte.
- Richtlijnen in verband met de screening:
Low risk: verdere screening is niet nodig.
Medium risk: verder onderzoek & medische supervisie is nodig bij maximale test.
High risk: verder onderzoek & medische supervisie is nodig bij (sub)maximaal test.
