material for application to commercial or practical objectives.

2. Proces (met wie werk je samen, hoe komt de innovatie tot stand).
3. Output (wat zijn goede ideeën, wat zijn slechte ideeën en wat zijn voor en nadelen).

Innovaties worden gecategoriseerd op basis van:
- Incrementeel (klein & stapsgewijs) vs. radicaal (groot & disruptief voor de markt)

Architectureel (verandering van configuratie van een systeem en hoe de
componenten binnen het systeem interacteren) (complex & tactical systems).
