Doelen

kleine bloedsomloop, de bouw van het hart (atria/ventrikels), de hartkleppen en de
coronairarteriën);

zijn (pompfunctie en hartcyclus (systole/diastole);
benoemen hoe een bloeddruk tot stand komt en op welke manier deze door het lichaam
wordt gereguleerd.

Ervoor zorgen dat er een eenrichtingsverkeer is

linkerlong -> venapulmonalis weer terug naar het hart -> linker boezem -> mitralis ->
linkerkamer -> aorta klep -> aorta
Hartspier = myocard
Pompt het bloed door het lichaam, door de samentrekking van de hartspier
Haarvaten = cornairen

Kracht waarmee hart bloed rondpompt hangt af van 4 factoren:

Contractiliteit
Preload
o Volume van het bloed in de ventricles op het einde van de diastole
Afterload
o Resistance left, ventricle must overcome to circulate blood
Cardiac output: hartminuutvolume
CO = HF x SV
CO: cardiac output (= hartminuutvolume)
HF: hartfrequentie (sl/min)
SV: slagvolume (hoeveelheid bloed die per hartslag uit het hart wordt gepompt)
