Letter to the tram regarding
Leadership Change
Hi Team,

Our previous leader has been promoted to the next role and will be joining the senior leadership
team. I like to thank him for his efforts and years which he gave in the improvement of project. I
like to wish him luck for the future role and believe he will continue to impress with his work.

I will be joining as your new project manager and want to take it to new level with the help of
yours contribution. I have found some problem areas in the project and will like to improve on it.
I have observed team is facing communication issues, is less participative and creative.

I want to take project to a next level and for achieving my goals I need my team support. I want
my team to share a strong bond and help each other out in problems. Creativity is the key to
success so I want to my team to be creative in giving new ideas and it will be possible only if you
all participate together and work as a team.

So team let’s work together and shows all what we are capable of achieving.

in the decision making process. When some changes are requires within the company
this leadership style helps employees in accepting changes easily because they also plays
a role. When decision has to be taken in a short period then participative leadership style
face a challenge.
3. Transactional Leadership: Transactional leadership means on the basis of performance
rewards, reorganizations and punishment to be given to team members. Predetermined
goals are set by managers and team members. (Glanz, 2002). Goals are achievable or not
employees have to agree. Manager has the power to check the results and if targets are
not met then he can take action against the team member. If employees meet the target
then rewards like bonuses, appreciation certificates are given to them.
4. Laissez-Faire Leadership: In this style of direct supervision of employees are not done
and it lacks the regular feedbacks to employees. (Johnson, 2014). Employees who have a
good experience and some trained employee who are working efficiently and needs only
a little supervision comes under Laissez-Faire style of leadership. However very fewer
