6.4 Spijsverteringsorganen
De spijsverteringsorganen hebben de taak het opgenomen voedsel zodanig te
bewerken dat het in het bloed kan worden opgenomen, dit heet vertering. Na het
verteren volgt resorptie, de opnamen in bloed en lymfevaten. De dikke darm
heeft als taak de onverteerbare en de niet verteerde voedselresten uit het
lichaam te verwijderen.
Het verteringskanaal bestaat uit:
- mondholte
- keelholte (farynx)
- slokdarm (oesophagus)
- maag (ventriculus, gaster)
- dunne darm (enteron)
◦ twaalfvingerige darm (duodenum)
◦ nuchtere darm (jejunum)
◦ kronkeldarm (ileum)
- dikke darm (colon)
◦ blindedarm (appendix)
◦ karteldarm met:
▪ opstijgend deel
▪ dwarsverlopend deel
▪ dalend deel
▪ S-vormig deel
◦ endeldarm (rectum)
Mondholte
- Speekselklieren
o 3 paar speekselklieren: oor speekselklieren, onderkaakspeekselklieren en
onder tongspeekselklieren
o per etmaal wordt 1 - 1,5 l speeksel afgescheiden
o speeksel bevat water (oplos en transportmiddel), slijm (glijmiddel), enzym:
amyse)
o Enzym begint met vertering zetmeel (amylum) dit word gedeeltelijk
omgezet tot maltose
