Het Genre Hiphop
Hiphop is in Amerika, New York, The Bronx ontstaan. The Bronx is
voornamelijk een arme buurt en destijds woonden er vooral Afro-
Amerikanen en Latino's. Hiphop is ontstaant in de jaren zeventig.
Het feit dat Hiphop in een armere buurt is ontstaan komt doordat men
vooral rapte over hun leven of over hoe slecht de overheid was.
De omstandigheden in Amerika in de jaren zeventig waren tamelijk slecht.
Er was veel onrust, dit kwam omdat er veel bekende en belangrijke mensen
omgebracht waren ( John F. Kennedy, Malcolm X, Robert Kennedy en
Martin Luther King ) en ook speelde natuurlijk de koude oorlog. Hierbij
kwam ook nog de oliecrisis en de eerste verschijnselen van internationaal
terrorisme.
Hierdoor vond men dat de regering slecht bezig was en gingen ze er maar
over zingen/rappen omdat ze bijna allemaal geen werk meer hadden. Ervan
uitgaand dat men in de armere wijken al helemaal geen werk meer had.
Vier grote idolen uit de Hiphop, naar mijn mening zijn:
- Juice WRLD
- Post Malone
- Jay Z
- 2pac
Jarad Anthony Higgins ookwel Juice WRLD groeide op in een buitenwijk
van Chicago genaamd Calumet Park. Later verhuisde hij met zijn ouders
naar Homewood. Nog toen Higgings jong was scheidden zijn ouders en
werd Higgings samen met zijn oudere broer opgevoed door hun
alleenstaande moeder.
Higgings wilde beginnen met muziek spelen maar omdat zijn moeder niet
zoveel geld had moest hij in een fabriek gaan werken zodat hij zijn eigen
instrumenten kon kopen. In 2017 bracht hij zijn eerste grote hit uit en brak
hij door bij het Amerikaanse publiek. Interscope had daarna Higgings
benaderd en hem een platencontract er waarde van drie miljoen euro
aangeboden. Kort daarna bracht Interscope het nummer All Girls Are The
