Summary
Utterson meets up with Jekyll to discuss his will after seeing that Jekyll wants all
his belongings to go to Hyde if he goes missing for more than 3 months. Jekyll
has to reassure Utterson about Hyde as Utterson doesn't trust Hyde.

A year later a man was clubbed to death in the street by Hyde.

A letter addressed to Utterson is found on the body. The police contact him. He
recognises the murder weapon as the broken half of a walking cane he gave to
Jekyll years later. Jekyll leads the police to Hyde's house to be told he hasn't
been there for 2 months but find the other half of the cane.

thinks Hyde and Jekyll are two different people. "The room bore every mark of having been recently and hurriedly
ransacked" - Shows how Hyde had a fast getaway and has left home.
