Operational activities

Each business has their own style of operating and various firms focus on
various operational activities, which is what makes them distinct them from
their competitors. An operational activity is defined as the activity a firm
carries out on a day-to-day basis which consist of things like, production
processes, sales and various other managerial activities that a firm executes.
A firm’s primary operational activities might involve among others, things
like advertising, carrying out marketing campaigns and distribution
processes.

Business Ethics

This is the study of the policies and practices all firms must follow. Moreover,
business ethics is basically problems that a firm must take into consideration
when executing day-to-day operations and business practices. Business
ethics consist of some basic principles that are enforced into rules, laws and
regulations, a good example would be the laws related to environment. It’s
extremely vital that firms comply with these fundamental and basic business
ethics in order to avoid getting into legal issues with the government and to
have a sustainable and pleasant working environment across all of their
workplaces.

Ethical Activities

Businesses employ many people, and this costs them a lot time and most
importantly resources. Huge firms tend to waste resources because they can
afford it, to employ someone new to the company, however they fail in
checking if it’s being done in an ethical manner or not. Firms might be
following their own company rules and regulations; however, it might be
unethical. Firms view ethical practices as practices linked with sustainability,
however it’s far beyond that. Firms must incorporate basic morale and
principles in order to be considered ethical. Elements such as equality,
justice and values all fall under the term “ethical”.

Values of Businesses

Corporate values, also referred to as business values, consist of some
fundamental values that the business is built upon. These values would help

,in guiding the firm and would also aid them in managing their relationship
with consumers and would also help them in their future decision making.

Professional Ethics

Each business has their own moral code that they work under and follow.
Each and every worker would also be following certain morale and ethically
based rules. The term professional ethics is defined as a principle which
governs the behaviors of the employees in the working environment. The
term professional ethics is defined as the values which control people’s
actions within the company. Professional ethics outlines the way a person
should interact and behave with other people or perhaps even another
institution in a work environment, taking into consideration their professional
ethics as well.

Individual Ethical Behavior

Each and every business out there will demand that their workers follow the
rules set by them regarding how to operate ethically in the best way
possible. Behaving in a way that ensures compatibility with what individuals
and societies expect and believe would fall under good values in behaving
ethically. Conducting yourself in an ethical manner has a positive impact on
the business and indicates that you respect the core principles and values
such as integrity, diversity and individual rights. Some more examples of
ethical behaviors would be honesty, and this would be one of the main
examples as it’s a very core element in the business because a working
environment that is built upon trust and confidence is always a sustainable
working environment and business can’t function without it. Respect would
be another vital element within a business as it would minimize stress levels
and issues in the work place and it increases the coordination between
employees and allows them to have a solid bond with each other, that’s why
respect is a core element that must be present in order to have a
sustainable working environment.
