Samenvatting statistiek3 typen bewijs:
1. Anekdotisch = er is in 1 geval geobserveerd.
2. Observationeel = er is over een grotere groep geobserveerd.
3. Experimenteel = in een gecontroleerde conditie een bepaalde verandering
doorvoeren om te kijken wat er dan gebeurt.
Experimenten moeten zo onafhankelijk mogelijk worden uitgevoerd, zodat menselijke
fouten worden geminimaliseerd:
- Blind: de patiënt weet niet wat hij krijgt toegediend.
- Dubbel-blind: de patiënt en de onderzoeker weten niet wat wordt toegediend.
Verschillen monsters/samples:
Biologie: elk monster dat je meet is een sample.
Statistiek: de verzameling monsters die je neemt uit een populatie vormen samen het
sample.
Data:
Categoriaal:
Discreet (een of ander, hele getallen)
- Nominaal = geen volgorde (man/vrouw, ziek/gezond).
- Ordinaal = waarden gerangschikt (niet verbeterd, verbeterd, sterk verbeterd).
Numeriek:
Continue (komma getallen)
- Interval = arbitrair nulpunt (Celsius, kan ook -10 zijn).
- Ratio = absoluut nulpunt (lengte).
