Het sacrum is zeer sterk verbonden met het ossa ilium beweeglijkheid SI-gewricht zeer klein.

In een normale situatie is het sacrum gekanteld. De symphyse en de SIAS’en staan in 1 frontaal vlak
als meest ventrale punten.
L4-S3: N. ischiadicus. Bij mannen is deze een duim dik, bij vrouwen een pink dik.

Laminectomie = het wegnemen van de lamina, om het ruggenmerg ruimte te geven. Op een RX is
een zwart gat steeds dat er iets weg is.
