, VOORWOORD

Voor u ligt het verslag Gezondheidsbevordering. Dit verslag behoort tot het onderwijsblok 4 en gaat
over preventie en zelfmanagement bij zorgvragers. Momenteel zit ik mijn tweede jaar van de
opleiding verpleegkunde aan de Hogeschool Utrecht.

De afgelopen 10 weken heb ik hard aan dit verslag gewerkt, waar ik veel van heb kunnen leren.
Wanneer er sprake is van gezondheidsproblemen bij zorgvragers is het van belang om te kijken naar
leefstijlveranderingen, om verdere complicaties te voorkomen. Dit verslag heeft mij geholpen om
vanuit het perspectief van de zorgvrager te kijken naar onze ‘adviezen’. We blijven het maar gek
vinden dat mensen met overgewicht ongezond blijven eten, maar tegelijkertijd weten we niet altijd
wat de reden erachter is. Door het maken van deze opdracht weet ik nu hoe je het gedrag van
mensen kunt sturen en hoe je met zelfmanagement ervoor kunt zorgen dat zij onder begeleiding zelf
overgewicht kunnen aanpakken.

Hierbij wil ik graag de docenten van gezondheidsbevordering XXX en XXX bedanken voor hun geduld
en aandacht.

Ondanks ik het een pittig verslag vond kijk ik er met veel leerplezier naar terug en wens ik u ook veel
leesplezier!
