Stability:stable

When I consider stability, I am reminded of someone who has natural talent. It is most

prominently shown by big-league athletes like Michael Jordan and Tom Brady. While each

of these players has a unique combination of abilities, it is a natural ability that has always

been there from a young age. Both of these players in their respective sports are nicknamed

the “G.O.A.T” Greatest Of All Time.

Stability:unstable

Nothing in sports is more unstable and unpredictable than a team's luck. David Tyree's "Helmet

Catch" in Super Bowl XLII is an example of good fortune. According to Leonard Tyree, he

made his 32-yard catch with Patriots safety. Rodney Harrison draped all over him on third-and-

5 with

59 seconds remaining in a Super Bowl with the Giants behind New England, 14-10, resulting

in the Super Bowl's greatest upset. Edelman caught a 23-yard pass on first-and-10 with little

over two minutes remaining on the game-tying drive in Super Bowl history's most incredible

comeback.

Locusofcausality:internal

Individuals with an internal locus of causation often believe that their activities have an impact

on outcomes. They feel they are responsible for the outcome and that they have control over

their destiny. Internal motivation, also known as intrinsic motivation, is more difficult to

discern. It is more noticeable, though, when all players start in the same position, and the game

seems to come down to who is more determined to win. Any track and field or swimming event

, is an excellent example of this. Everyone starts in the same place, and the winner is determined

by who works the hardest and most passionately for victory.

Locusofcausality:external

External locus of causality ascribes events to external causes such as fate, chance, or other

people. A cause of an outcome that a person believes to be external and beyond his or her

control. Obviously, external factors have a role in deciding whether a team or person performs

well or badly at times. For example, if a club, such as the New Orleans Saints, is accustomed to

playing in a dome but is forced to play outside against the Green Bay Packers in January and

blames the weather for their loss.

Locusofcontrol:inone'scontrol

This happens when the result of an event is entirely determined by factors within the person's or

team's control. Their preparation, effort, attitude, and focus are excellent examples of this. Your

preparation involves, among other things, your level of training, diet, mental preparation, game

plan or competitive strategy, technique, competition warm-up, and pre-game routine. When you

plan correctly, you gain confidence and control. Training intensity, competitive intensity, and

attention to technology development are the three components of effort. Often, it is hard work

that distinguishes the good from the extraordinary. Your attitude toward competition, your

perspective on adversity, the content of your thoughts, your approach to training and a long

season, your reaction to mistakes, and your reaction to bad officiating are all part of your

attitude. When it comes to competitiveness, your mentality is everything. Your concentration is

influenced by what you choose to focus on. You will have a considerable advantage over your

rivals if you can keep a positive mindset and immerse yourself in the current moment

(Cohn,2017).
