immerse themselves in the various forms of communication and improve. The other close
necessity for any student to be aware of is to be ready with all the necessary tools for the course.
For example, ensure that you already have ordered the Zinsser and APA textbook beforehand.
If you are stuck with queries, questions, or anything you don’t understand, immediately contact
the professor via email or whichever preferred communication the professor has established for
the students. Here, I want to take the opportunity to thank you Dr. Fan for helping me through
this course and being available whenever I had any issues. You were very responsive in
communicating and helping. Academic Writing Center is also helpful and should be used as
often as possible. Communication, in general, is the key if you are stuck. Reach out, and you will
receive help with any roadblocks you may have with your submissions or learnings.
Planning with everything related to the course, especially if you are also working 40 hours or
more a week, will help a great deal and avoid surprises or uncertainties, and though there will be
some, you will have enough time to tackle it. It also helps with scheduling major assignment
reviews with the academic writing center like unit 4 and unit 6. I like to get at least two
additional pairs of eyes reviewing my work, so I was ready and did plan, which helped me
