Introduction:


The main objective of this evaluative report is to explore the concept of cross-cultural human resource

management and the issues arising related to human resources while the most organizations are

expanding on global platform. The various examples of case-studies are used to implement the related

theory concepts into practical solutions for the internal organizational challenges. While in the second

part of this report, the two of the given topic areas are chosen which are: [a] Recruitment and Selection

and [b] Training and Development. These two topics are explored by using academic resources while

particularly focusing on the practical challenges faced by the organizations on international platform. In

the last part, the relevant conclusions and recommendations are provided for the managers to address

the HR related challenges in the organizations.


1.1 Globalization and Cross-Cultural HR Management

Specifically, the term of globalization defines the merger of domestic and international markets

including their social and economic system (Cetrella, 2012). In recent times, the globalization has
