, The legal profession is one of the most important aspects of the administration of justice.
Without an organized law profession, the courts would not be in a position to govern the
justice effectively, as evidence that the parties' favor against a lawsuit cannot be correctly
marked, the facts cannot be properly pronounced and the best legal arguments in support of
it against the case of the parties cannot be brought before the court. According to 1Oxford
Dictionary, Legal profession is defined as ‘ The body of people who practise law ‘. The legal
profession in the United Kingdom has customized the political framework for many years to
give the society the best law. The legal profession in England and Wales ‘… the legal
profession comprises two distinct branches: barristers and solicitors’, according to Wilson, S.
Rutherford 2. These two different types of lawyers achieve different goals, while there are
lots of similarities in their actions. Although there are similarities in this two branches, they
need to remain as they are. This essay, will build an understanding of both barristers and
solicitors, as well, whether these branches should maintain two distinct branches of the
same profession or should be combined into one.

training to the giving of legitimate counsel and planning of formal authoritative archives, and

exhortation and direction to their customers on the laws of England and Wales. Solicitors
take part in a wide scope of legitimate exercises, for example, business law, probate,
transport, family law, criminal and common case and mediation. Solicitors have the right to
practice only certain areas of the law.
On the other hand, according to 5 The Bar Council, barristers are master legitimate
counselors and court advocates. They are objective, independent and prepared to advise
customers on the qualities and shortcomings of their case. They have knowledge and
experience all through court, which can have a considerable effect to the result of a case.
The barrister is a legal counselor who has been admitted to "invoke at the bar." Meaning that
the individual has been called to the bar by the 'benchers' and subject to pupil age necessity,
additionally is permitted to show up in court to contend a customer's case.
A solicitor job includes representing people and associations in their dealings with the law.
