Skills and qualities required of candidates applying for merchandiser
vacancy at TESCO PLC

Employability skills:

 Numeracy ─ ability to handle numbers, including the basic skills of addition,
subtraction, multiplication, division and percentages. Recruiters may also look for
the ability to gather and compile statistical data in various formats, and analyse,
interpret and present the data in a clear way.
 Experience ─ According to recent surveys and news, work experience is
becoming increasingly important to employers over education and degrees.
