a) A couple from Northern Ireland who wish to visit London. They have been once
before and are keen fans of theatres and musicals.
b) A family from Wales, two parents and two children wants a day visit to a theme
park.
c) A German single man is visiting the capitals of the UK for the first time. He does not
speak English.
d) An older couple from Spain are visiting Cardiff for the first time. They want a week`s
stay in the city. They speak English.

They can access information by their Inbound visitors need information on
friends and relatives or from the transport, attractions, events and
internet. The Irish couple needs accommodation. The national and
information on theatre and musical regional tourism board websites allow
times and prices. Welsh family needs them to do research before they arrive in
information on theme parks, the UK (for example the VisitBritain
transport and traffic. website). Visitors from other countries
may not access information in English, so
that information needs to be available in
their language. VisitBritain is a good
example as they have a local language
website facility that is added for Greece,
Malaysia, Hungary, Thailand and the Czech
Republic.
They need information that is easy for
them to understand and inform them
what they can do in the cities. They might
get some discount for the attraction which
is offered at various places.
The German man needs all the
information in German, including
multilingual brochures and websites on
accommodation, transport and
sightseeing. He will need to communicate
with people who speak his language.
