Evidence at a forum created are less robust from a statistical point of view, but from a
higher quality in terms of the way in which people think about and address these issues when
they are provided to the presentations by the experts, in order to contextualize the discussion.
Also, the forum of the opening is taking place on the nature of the often contradictory to the
media, and a discussion of the political party. In combination, the evidence of our quantitative
survey and qualitative evidence on the opening facilitates an understanding of the systematic
and detailed of the people of Northern Ireland, on the departure of the Uk from the EU.
3.3. The border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland

We presented the respondents with a set of different types of border controls that
could be put in place between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland,we asked the
respondents to indicate one of the following replies: well, I would accept it, happy to do so;
I'd love to, but I can live with it if I would have it; or, it seems almost impossible to take in.
In figure 4.1, we report the proportion of respondents who would not find each and
every type of possible control of the border, "the almost impossible-to-accept".

Forty per cent of the respondents said they would be close impossible to accept the
guest rooms at the border, which would record the license plate of the vehicle, while the
people will lead,the answer is as high as 20 per cent of the respondents of the catholics - a
minority is significant.
Thirty per cent of the respondents believed that the police, the border - I mean the
small ones of the remote control - it is almost impossible to take in, amounting to 42% of all
catholics. Between 41 and 54 per cent of the respondents felt it almost impossible for you to
accept the following: the control of the customs officers; the police service of Northern
Ireland (PSNI); and the british Soldiers, the Gardaí (the irish police), or the soldiers of the
irish people, who are in charge of the inspection is required to present a passport at the border;
the controls at the frontier that would add 30 minutes to your journey; and, taking the photo of
you or your fingerprint-verified, or for any other test, yeah.
The respondents of the catholics, they are particularly opposed to between 55% and
72%, find the controls almost impossible to take in. The idea to apply in advance of travel
documents, it is perceived to be particularly unacceptable that: 69% of the population, we
consider that it is almost impossible to take in, including 80 percent of the catholics.
