3. Lecture Hall (kodo)
4. Bell tower (shoro or shuro)
5. Sutra Repository (kyozo)
6. Dormitory (sobo)
7. Dining Hall (jikido)

Many early buildings at Horyuji use the cloud pattern bracketing and columnar entasis

Dedicated to kami of the Japanese imperial family

An outer shrine (geku) is dedicated to Touke Okami (Abundant food Great Kami) and
inner shrine (naiku) is dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami (Heaven-Illuminating Great
Kami)
