KIDNEY Releases toxic waste from the body and regulates bodily fluids.
OVIDUCT (Fallopian Tube) transports the egg from the ovary to the uterus
OVARY Produce gametes (oocytes). Theses ovaries are located on either side of the uterus and are
connected by the ovarian ligament. The produce female hormones such oestrogen and
progesterone and store eggs until mature or released during ovulation.
CERVIX Allows the flow of periods from the uterus into the vagina and the sperm into the uterus.
Lower part of the uterus, connect to the vagina.
FALLOPIAN TUBES These are narrow tubes connected to the uterus, is where the eggs is released from the
ovary towards the opening of the tube. Small – hair like protrusions (Cilia) help the
muscles of the wall to help push eggs to the uterus. The fertilisation process of both egg
and sperm happen inside the tubes, and then travels to the uterus lining and is implanted.
VAGINA Allows you to experience sexual intercourse and is where ejaculation of sperm takes place
