Cap Charge - ANS-Sum of: all salary to be paid in a current year, prorated money already paid,

Compensatory Draft Selection - ANS-32 additional draft picks each year. Awarded for
non-offsetting losses of Unrestricted Free Agents
Credited Season - ANS-Earned for 3 weeks on the active roster. A season that counts towards
an increase in Minimum P5 salary
De-escalator - ANS-A clause that reduces a player's salary or other contract bonuses for failing
to reach performance thresholds
Dead money - ANS-Salary cap charge that remains on team payroll after a player is released or
traded
Deion Rules - ANS-Rule that reallocates bonus money from years not covered by the current
CBA to seasons covered by it.
ERFA - ANS-Player with <3 credited seasons when contract expires. If prior team chooses,
player can only sign with that team.
