2.1 The use of microscopy to observe and investigate different types of cell

Light Microscope: A compound light microscope has two lenses- the objective
lens placed near the specimen, and an eyepiece objective lens through which
the specimen is viewed through. The objective lens produces a magnified image,
which is magnified again by the eyepiece lens.

Rules to a scientific drawing:

Calibrating x4 :

1. Put the stage micrometre in place and the eyepiece graticule in the
eyepiece

3.Align the micrometre scale with the scale in the eyepiece and take a reading
from the two scales
