Una lesion a la altura de la motoneurona inferior, destruye el arco reflejo por destruccion de
las alfa, gamma motoneuronas, las aferecias y eferencias. El sistema cortical (Cx Motora I) actua
estimulando e inhibiendo ciertas motoneuronas inferiores para lograr el control voluntario de la
musculatura, sin estas, lo primero que se ve es una paralisis, es decir la perdida del mov voluntario.
Acompañando a esto tenemos una ausencia total del reflejo (Siempre asumiendo una lesion
completa) por destruccion del arco, y se acompaña de una ausencia de tono (El Miotatico es la base
del tono, sin reflejo no hay tono).
Los reflejos arcaicos son un tipo especial de reflejo que sirven para la supervivencia, a
medida que aparece el control cortical, estos empiezan a desaparecer (Estan inhibidos por la Cx),
pero al ser reflejos, la informacion de los mismos esta en medula, y en caso de una destruccion de
las motoneuronas, tampoco van a existir.
La particularidad que tiene el SMI es la presencia de fasciculaciones, es decir la contraccion
involuntaria de un solo fasciculo del musculo y no toda la masa musc. “Como gusanos recorriendo
abajo de la piel”
