Semester 2 Assessment
 Two assessments to complete for single honours students

 Report on Poverty in the UK – people’s attitudes, structural inequality, the
representation of it in the media; encourage people to report on poverty in a way
that you think is right to talk about.

 Literature Review – we will talk about this in week 3. You will be asked to read
two academic articles on poverty. You will be given a list of articles to choose
from. You are to pull two key themes from the articles.

 You can go 10% over the word count

 The due date is the same for all students
