Introduction
This is a reflective report on Business Strategy Game (BSG) for Freebok Company.
Operation of this athletic footwear company was analyzed on the basis of a neck-and-neck
competition with the other nine companies for worldwide leadership in the market. It therefore,
competes against rival companies for athletic footwear run by other members of the class. The
company was ranked at number six out of the total nine in the Industry 9 Scoreboard. It makes
reference to The Business Strategy Game: Competing in a Global Marketplace. This report
highlights the specific strategic decision making processes that have helped Freebok in key
decision making process to see it rank higher among rival footwear companies. The report
therefore focuses on the essential strategies, how they can be implemented and various measures
of success to confirm the workability of these strategies. I also suggested an action plan in
addition to the given content, which will help in achieving the set financial and market goals. It
also helps in gaining a competitive advantage among rival companies which are ranked high
from evaluation on previous years’ performance.

absorbed the Player’s Guide contents and had a strong grip on the kind of exercises involved,
Freebok’s market character and different cause-effect relationships governing operations of the
company. Certain important information which helped in the simulation and analysis of Freebok
Company in due course of the game which already ended is the information to do with the debt-
to-assets ratio, the interest coverage ratio, the default risk ratio, the current ration, operation cash
flows, inventory days, and ratio of dividend payout (Budler & Trkman, 2017).
The issue at hand is that, due to the low ranking of the Company among other competing
footwear companies, certain key decision making processes were involved in line with BSG. For
certain important decisions to make, I preferred using the decision entries for year 11. That
helped us through year 10 right from year 11. It called for first scrolling down the menu given at
