History of Women
Introduction
Women's history seems abstract and less relevant to most people than modern women's
struggles today. However, one should not ignore the crucial accomplishments that ancient
women achieved in the past. People can draw strength and inspiration from the incredible women
of the past generation. Their accomplishments are part of the History written today, a story that
has exclusively contributed to a much-balanced society. An inclusive history should recognize
these women and how important the women have been in American history. As much as it is
impossible to know every world-changing achievement in women's history, many outstanding
figures in women's history have been prominent because their achievements and actions remain
impressive today.
The past social-economic setup of most American societies did not give room for women
to come out and play essential roles in the community. Organizations always prioritized men,
who, in most cases, people presumed that they were superior to women. Even though ancient
culture discriminated against women and denied them the opportunity to participate in most
activities and historical events, some women were brave enough and used their chance to
empower others, unite, and fight for their rights, hence managing to bring justice and equality in
the society. In the process, they made history. This paper will look at the history of women in the
United States and the world uniquely. The report will discuss famous women in history and the
achievements that made them outstanding in the world. The paper will also discuss women
groups and organizations that significantly impacted women's lives in America and the world.

Pioneer Women in Careers
Women made history by engaging in careers that society previously believed were meant
for men. These careers include military, journalism, and teaching. Due to the nature and dangers
of military work, ancient society prohibited women from taking part in such risky activities. The
community presumed women to be too weak to serve in the Military. The story of Margaret
Duncan Bridget's career in the Military is pure proof that women were willing to break the
societal norms and show the world that women can serve in the delicate jobs at equal levels as
their male counterparts. Margaret Bridget served as an inspiration and a turning point for most
young ladies to join the military.1 More women are currently doing an outstanding job in
protecting the territories of the United States both within the country and overseas. Women have
even found their way into the USA's most elite forces like the US Navy Seals and Rangers
squads. Women therefore should be given equal opportunities in each profession as male
counterparts.
Another career that women have ventured into of late as a result of historical inspiration
is Journalism. Just like the Military, the journalism field has its risks, especially investigative
journalism. Marzolf outlines a series of historical events in the life of women journalists.2The
document documents the journey of women's journalism and how they managed to overcome the
overwhelming challenges that the women faced, and how they eventually became outstanding
journalism in the United States.
