3. In the study provided in this scenario, we will use the test of independence. This test
is also referred to as the two-way Chi-square. When we want to test whether
participants in one study are independent or dependent of participants in another
category, we use the two-way Chi-square (Heiman, 2015). In this particular scenario,
we are trying to determine if there is a relationship between the students’ academic
program, nursing or psychology, and their feelings, nervousness or excitement, prior
