Dit verslag schrijven wij naar aanleiding van een opdracht die we hebben gekregen voor het project
Mentoren op Zuid. Aan het eind van dit project dienen wij dit verslag te presenteren aan een groep
12/13 jarige. In deze presentatie geven wij een voorlichting over een bepaald onderwerp.
Voor ons onderwerp hebben wij ons laten inspireren door het verhaal over Sarah Everard. Sarah liep
na een avond met een vriendin alleen terug naar huis, waarna zij nooit thuis is aangekomen. Zij is
ontvoerd en vermoord. Hierna is er een actie op sociale media gekomen waarin een whatsapp
berichtje stond met “text me when you get home xx”. Deze actie is ontstaan doordat veel vrouwen
dachten ‘dit had mij ook kunnen overkomen’. Het onderwerp dat we uiteindelijk hebben gekozen is
Veiligheid op straat.
Na het schrijven van dit verslag moeten wij nog een aantal mensen bedanken. Allereerst onze
medestudenten die ons kritische feedback hebben gegeven tijdens de lessen. Ook willen we Chaibia
Kassino en Sam de Bruin bedanken voor de intervisie momenten waarin wij over ons onderwerp
konden sparren. En als laatst willen we elkaar nog bedanken voor de fijne samenwerking.
