Why you have chosen this syllabus type
I decided on using Topic based syllabus for this assignment as it is a good variety of different
topics, vocabulary, skill practice and structure. This will allow me t be able to teach Alberto
listening, writing, reading, and speaking skills by making use of different activities and
materials. Making use of this syllabus allows me to have more flexibility within the lessons
and prevents limitations
Why you have chosen the topic(s) covered
I have chosen the topics that will be covered in these lessons based on the interview and
questioner that Alberto has completed. In these he clearly states what his interests and
hobbies are, allowing me to base lessons on these topics to gain his full interest in the lesson.
The topics I have used include vocabulary that is used in his workplace, words to use while
socializing, words that he might come across while traveling. These will allow him to gain
confidence in his working environment as well as amongst peers, friends and whilst
traveling.

I have chosen this approach as his main aim is to improve his English so he can be able to
get a job promotion in Spain or alternatively find a new job in England. Therefore, the
