1. Doel

Opstellen van een extictiecurve a.d.h.v een spectrofotometer om daaruit lmax te bepalen. Tekenen
van een ijklijn van alle lmax-waarden van de bekende concentraties en daaruit de te bepalen
concentraties van de onbekende oplossingen afleiden.

2. Principe




Wet van Lambert-Beer:

met: E = Extinctie
ε = extinctiecoëfficiënt [L.mol-1.cm-1]
l = weglengte [cm]
C = concentratie [mol.L-1]
Deze Wet geeft een recht evenredig verband tussen de concentratie van het staal en de
extinctie/absorbantie van de oplossing. Hoe hoger de extinctie hoe meer monochromatisch licht er
wordt opgenomen dus is de oplossing geconcentreerder.

Geldigheid van de Wet van Lambert-Beer:

 Verdunde oplossingen (C < 0,01 M)

met: C = begin concentratie [ppm]
