KABIZ staat voor Kwaliteitsregistratie en Accreditatie Beroepsbeoefenaren in de Zorg en voert als
onafhankelijke organisatie de registratie en herregistratie van beroepsbeoefenaren in de zorg uit.
KABIZ heeft als doel kwaliteit van beroepsbeoefenaren in de zorg zichtbaar te maken voor
patiënten/cliënten, collega's, werkgevers en zorgverzekeraars. Met een registratie bij KABIZ maak je
zichtbaar dat je aan kwaliteit voldoet en het vak uitoefent volgens de gestelde kwaliteitseisen van de
beroepsgroep.
Dan is er ook nog De Nederlandse Vereniging van Doktersassistenten (NVDA), dit is de
beroepsvereniging van doktersassistenten. De NVDA behartigt de belangen van alle
doktersassistenten. In de maatschappij en op de werkvloer, in de cao en op de arbeidsmarkt. De
beroepsvereniging zet zich in voor scholing, kwaliteit, persoonlijke ontwikkeling, diensten en
contacten tussen collega’s. Als lid van de NVDA draag je bij aan een sterke beroepsvereniging die
opkomt voor individuele en collectieve belangen.
Er bestaan vier nascholing instanties; NSPOH, KOH, NVDA, Kabiz. Hier worden diverse nascholingen
aangeboden zoals ‘Triage in de dagpraktijk’, ‘Mijn kind is ziek: triage en communicatie’ en
‘wondmanagement’. Nascholing is een belangrijk onderdeel om je werk als doktersassistente goed uit
te kunnen voeren.
