Waarom levert oxidatie energie?
Zuurstof neemt graag elektronen op (is dus zeer elektronegatief)
- Bij oxidatie komt energie vrij
- Hoe meer C-atoom geoxideerd is, hoe minder energie het bevat => hoe meer gereduceerd
