-Creencia en la superior de la raza blanca: tiene el “deber” de curlizar a los “salvajes”.
Los grandes imperios:
El imperio británico:
-Facilitado por su hegemonía marítima y el control de puntos estratégicos
-Dominio casi completo de África Oriental desde Egipto al Cabo de Buena Esperanza.
-La conquista se realizó a medias entre las autoridades británicas y empresarios
