Jhy-Wen, 2014). Among all URT infections, influenza, which is commonly known as flu is
highly prevalent in Taiwan. During the week ending 17 June 2017, CDC reported that 93,
713 people sought treatment for flu in various across the country. The number recorded
in that week was the highest as compared to a similar period ever since 2009 (Wei-ting
& Hsin-Yin, 2017). During this period, severe cases of flu had reached 677, with 73
fatalities. The data proves how to prevent URT infections are in Taiwan.
