o the result is less dependent upon the number of items used
o possible when having missing values
o MEAN.n(): number n of items with valid values that need to be present → use

o produceer graphs van de verdeling van de scale scores (histogram/boxplot)
graphs → legacy dialogs → histogram (2x aanvragen als je voor beide scales wil weten) →

o z-scores berekenen
analyze → descriptive statistics → descriptives → voeg relevante variabele(n) toe + selecteer
“save standardized values as variables” → OK
o t-scores berekenen
transform → compute variable → specificeer target variable → vul in numeric expression
venster in: 50 + 10 * Zx (vul de naam in van de z-score zoals in data gelabeld) → OK
Zijn er meerdere z-scores? doe dit bovenstaande dan voor beiden apart
o percentielen berekenen
transform → rank cases → plaats variabelen in variable box → Rank Types: uncheck Rank,
selecteer “Fractional rank as %” → continue → Ties: selecteer “High” (ipv Mean) → continue
→ OK
- percentages afronden, decimalen aanpassen
variable view → kolom decimals → ga naar relevante variabele → pas decimalen aan
