ATI Content Mastery Series (CMS) Remediation Plan and
Template for Below Level 1
ATI Assessment Care of child
Before you can become a nurse, you must pass the National Council Licensing Examination
(NCLEX) to demonstrate your competency in nursing. Rasmussen University uses ATI as an
adjunct to support learning. The process of remediation will guide you to strengthen your
knowledge in the content area you need to improve. This remediation plan and template
document is provided as part of your course assignment and must be completed in its
entirety.
To receive full credit (100%) for your remediation, you must complete and submit all the
following to the ATI Remediation dropbox in your Blackboard course.
☐ Individual Performance Profile Content Mastery Series (SMC) Proctored Assessment
☐ Completed ATI Content Mastery Series (CMS) Focused Review Transcript
☐ Completed Remediation Template: Using the results of your ATI CMS Individual
Performance Profile Report determine the Major Content Areas that fall below the 78%
Subscale Individual Score
☐ Completed ATI Learning Systems RN: Complete the Standard Quiz Final in the CMS
Content area for this ATI Assessment. Complete the quiz at a 78% or higher (retake until

You will use the results from your ATI CMS Individual Performance Profile Report to determine
the Major Content Areas that fall below the 78% Subscale Individual Score. For each Major
Content Area Sub Scale score that falls below 78%, you will need to present at least three
critical statements for each topic that falls within the area. Identify the reference and page
number that correlates with the concept (Title of Book/ page #). Add a header of what topic is
being covered from the “Topic to Review.”
