Objectives:
The objective for this lab is for us to have some practice on how to solder. This will help
us to put together the dice kit learn how to assemble electronic components.
Results:
This lab consisted of getting a electronic die kit and make it function correctly. A lot of
soldering involved in this lab. On this lab we gain skills of basic soldering, putting
components where they belong, and lastly trouble shooting. The simplest mistake with
electronic components can stop the die kit from functioning at all or correctly.
Conclusions:
In conclusion, this lab has well prepared us for the future. Simple mistakes were made
and had to fix a cold joint. Making the solder spots too big on the back of the kit was also
something that was an issue because it can run into other paths and short the circuit.
Shorting the circuit in this kit would lead to no lights lighting up or a damage component.
