Objectives:
This week’s objectives are to learn about the operation of the BCD-to Seven-Segment
decoder, to learn about the operation of the seven-segment display, to learn about the
operation of the multiplex and to build and test a multiplexed display circuit using both
discrete components and the eSOC III board.
Results:
I learnt how to build this circuit and to make various digits display on the seven-segment
display.
Conclusions:
I can now take a binary number and put it into this circuit and have that number display on
the seven-segment display thru the decoder and multiplexer.
