, 1. THE USE OF STERIODS AND SUPPLEMENTS IN SCHOOLS SPORTS.
Steroids can have devastating psychological consequences. Some users may
become angry or confrontational, have delusions (false beliefs), or have intense
feelings of mistrust or fear (paranoia).
Steroid users appear to be more likely to use other drugs, such as alcohol or
cocaine, to counterbalance some of the negative effects of the steroids.

bacterial endocarditis, an infection of the heart's inner lining. More especially
learners as they are still minors.
The damage done by steroids is not reversible.
Girls may experience menstrual irregularities and the development of masculine
characteristics such as facial and body hair and the enlargement of clitoris.
Boys may experience testicular atrophy or the formation of breast tissue.
Both boys and girls may experience mood swings and violent conduct, which can
have a negative impact on not just the lives of individuals who use steroids, but
also those around them.
Acne can affect either which can have a negative impact as they can suffer from
low self-esteem.
Using steroids in school sports is utterly illogical and hazardous, as it risks causing
