Why was Serbia to blame for the war (6-point question)

The first reason why it was Serbia’s responsibility for starting WW1 is because they sent
terrorists to assassinate Prince Francis Ferdinand. The Serbian government backed up the
Black Hand terrorist organization which shows that they had supported the assassination
and perhaps the government knew about the plan before. Serbia could have instead
accepted the Austrian ultimatum to avoid the war, however Serbia still caused the
European conflict which quickly escalated into a war due to Serbia’s irresponsibility. Serbia
also caused alliances to form such as the alliance with Germany-Austro-Hungary and
Serbia made an alliance with Russia. These alliance encouraged other countries to form
alliances as well and cause more conflicts between rival countries.

The second reason why it was Serbia’s responsibility for starting WW1 is because of its
nationalism (pride for its country). Serbia’s Nationalism continued to rise, and they wanted
Bosnia which was a part of Austro-Hungary, therefore the assassination of F.F happened,
just because Serbia wanted land, and this shows how unprofessional and selfish Serbia was.
The effects of Serbia’s Nationalism were an inflated confidence in, its government,
economy and military power. Many nationalists also became blind to the faults of their own
nation. Ther Serbian nationalists criticized rival nations to the point of assassinating their
Prince. A belief that the Slavic people had is to have their own nation, Slavic nationalism
was strongest in Serbia.

Why was Germany to blame for WW1 (10-point question)

The 3 main reasons why Germany is to blame for causing WW1 is them having the
power to stop the war between Austria-Hungary and Serbia. They encouraged war,
invaded multiple countries and started unnecessary conflict. Germany caused the war that
killed millions even though it could have been avoided if it weren’t for Germany’s selfish
decisions. Therefore, Germany holds a lot of responsibility for starting WW1.

The first reason why Germany should be blamed for the war is because Germany alone
had the power to stop the war between Austria-Hungary and Serbia. All they had to do was
not have an alliance with Austro-Hungary so they couldn’t have the financial ability to start
a war with Serbia. This would have caused Austro-Hungary to never issue their ultimatum.
Germany also knew that if Austria-Hungary went to war with Serbia, Russia and France
would both get pulled in. It was almost as if Germany needed to find a way to declare a war
on their rivals in the region without doing it themselves. Germany could never just outright
declare a war on other nations, or they would risk unifying the entire continent of Europe
