INTRODUCTIE
Parkinson is een overkoepelde term waaronder onder andere idiopathische parkinson disease ook valt maar ook
parkinson plus syndromen zoals multiple system atrofie (MSA) en progressieve supranucleaire palsy (PSP). Deze twee
zijn de meest frequente parkinson plus syndromen, degeneratieve aandoeningen.
Ook lewy body disease en cortico-basale degeneratie zijn Parkinson plus syndromen. Onder de term van
parkinsonisme valt ook de iatrogene (dus door medicatie uitgelokte) parkinson.
Camptocormia = posturale aandoening die zich uit als abnormale flexie van de romp, posturaal deficiet met flexed,
stooped position. Pisa syndrome is een versie van camptocomia waarbij patienten heel hard voorover leunen.
